Live By The Sword Salon is now hiring experienced hair stylists and salon assistants to join our fast-paced, fashion-forward team in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Located on Bedford Ave, just two blocks from the L train, our salon is a high-traffic, walk-in-friendly space with strong online booking, making it easy to build and maintain a full clientele.

We serve a diverse NYC client base, so versatility behind the chair is essential. Our team is supported by strategic marketing, an in-house social media and advertising team, and cross-promotion through our citywide tattoo and piercing shops, creating consistent client flow and long-term growth opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid NY cosmetology license

  • 2+ years behind-the-chair experience

  • Strong skills in both color and cutting

  • Comfortable working with all hair types and textures

  • Interest in or experience with hair extensions is a plus

  • Professional, reliable, and team-oriented

  • Passion for continued education, trends, and technique

  • Comfortable showcasing your work on social media

✂️ Salon Assistants

We’re also hiring motivated salon assistants to join our team in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-volume salon, with the opportunity to learn and develop alongside experienced stylists.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid NY cosmetology license

  • Recent in-salon experience preferred

  • Strong blowout and styling skills

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Passion for hair and the beauty industry

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Eager to learn, grow, and advance within the salon
